The Simple Woman's Daybook

Outside my Window... it is dark and cold.

I am thinking...of how quickly ones life can change.

From the learning rooms...i am learning. . . to focus on the here and now.

I am thankful for...so many, many supportive friends and family members.

From the kitchen...nothing.  It's dark out there.

I am wearing...jeans, a green and white shirt and my brown slippers from China

I am reading...The Awakening Land  (an old favorite)

I am hoping....to get several Christmas gifts done this week.

I am creating...a new life.

I am hearing...my little bird chirping

Around the house...is silence.

One of my favorite things...sittin' and knittin'

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...going to a college choir concert, Bible study and support group tomorrow, TOPS and choir on Thursday.   Finishing 2 Raggedy Andy's.

      I shall not want.
      Psalm 23:1
and today i went to the Birdhouse and brought home a new friend.  i think his name is Petey but i'm not sure yet.

This verse has been very meaningful to me of late:
He said, " O Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like You in
heaven above or on earth beneath, keeping covenant and showing
lovingkindness to Your servants who walk before You with all their
      heart.   I Kings 8:23

And a picture:
